Cybersecurity Awareness Month – This October, Do Your Part: #BeCyberSmart.
September 29, 2021
Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CSAM) is a global initiative created by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance in 2004 to recognize the importance of digital security for consumers and organizations alike. Now an internationally recognized campaign, CSAM aims to spread awareness about the importance and urgency of cybersecurity. As the frequency and sophistication of cybercrime continue to increase, understanding the significance of cybersecurity and implementing best cyber practices is more important than ever. To make our interconnected world safer and more cyber resilient for everyone, now is the time for both enterprises and individuals to prioritize:
- Strong cyber hygiene
- Raising community awareness
- Educating people of all ages
- Comprehensively training employees
- Implementing policy at the federal level
Herjavec Group is proud to be a Cybersecurity Awareness Champion!
