MoviePass new business feature might cause privacy concerns to many

MoviePass that allowed viewers to purchase tickets from the mobile and watch a movie each day is all set to return with a few changes guarantee profits for sure to the company.

This time from the business aspect, the company is planning to come up with a feature called ā€˜Preshowā€™ where the consumer needs to watch an advertising slot of say, 15 minutes or 30 minutes to gain credits. The credits can then be used by them to purchase movie tickets of their favorite in theaters nearby.

Currently, Stacy Spikes hasnā€™t clearly mentioned on what he is up to and how it benefits the user to the core. However, the founder who started the business of subscription based movie watching service is confident that his new idea will not lead to the bankruptcy as witnessed previously.

Till here, everything seems to be alright!

But according to the sources reporting to our Cybersecurity Insiders, the PreShow feature will operate on software that will be linked to the front camera of a smart phone and will keep a watch on the user, the whole time, ensuring a good value for the invested amount to the advertisers.

Meaning, the PreShow software integrated into the front camera of a smart phone will always watch the userā€™s eye balls and keep a note on when they rolled their eyeballs away from the screen- while watching the advertisement.

And based on this viewing theory, the analyzing software will then decide on the credits to be offered to the user, followed by discounts, if any.

Privacy advocates argue that the software can trigger privacy and security concerns as there is no guaranty that it will only operate when the user is seeking services from the mobile app.

What if it keeps a regular watch on the user anonymously?

Hope, Movie Pass addresses all these concerns on time and then presents itself as a rejigged business!
