Spider Man No Way Home has released worldwide on December 16th,2021 and is on its way to become a blockbuster. However, on the negative side, some fraudsters are using the name of the movie and are trying to fox online users by luring them into various cyber frauds.

One such fraud that the security researchers of Kaspersky have discovered is the spread of malicious files and phishing attacks via email and mobile SMS.

From the past few days, some hackers are seen using the name of the superhero’s latest installment to spread malware by sending emails with subject-line that they can grab hold of free tickets if they can use the embedded link and fill in their contact information.

In some instances, cyber crooks are seen sending email messages to innocent people and are urging them to enter banking details, so that they can get hold of tickets at discounted prices.

All such tactics are to lure the Spider-Man fans into a fraud that either downloads malware(Trojans, adware and malicious programs) onto their systems or seeks sensitive details leading them into frauds such as identity theft in near future.

Interestingly, cyber criminals are not putting an end to their tactics here-so. But are wading forward by impersonating many ticket booking web pages to grab money in the name of online ticket booking services with either a cashback offer or free food coupon assurance equivalent the ticket money.
