SANS Holiday Hack Challenge 2021 is back to help Santa Claus defeat cyber villains like Jack Frost to save the holiday season from a digital disaster. The challenge is nothing but a level of organized games where players can show their talent to thwart nefarious plots of cyber villains.
Ed Skoudis, the President of SANS Technology Institute has announced that the hack challenge is now open to the world and will allow tech enthusiasts develop their cybersecurity skills, learn new cyber defenses, offense-line, selection in blue teams working to save corporate networks, information regarding digital forensics and incident response along with some tactics linked to cloud security.
It has to be notified that only one competitor showing excellence will be awarded a grand prize as a free SANS online course and no prize money will be distributed during the gaming season.
Entertainment quotient will be high as players can enjoy their favorite music tracks while they are busy in solving the virtual challenges at the north pole.
SANS Holiday Hack Challenge 2020 witnessed the participation of over 19,000 players and this year it’s expected to double up, as the event is being held online.
The event will also witness a host of demos and sessions from top cybersecurity experts who will be ready to offer a knowledge share on topics such as Blockchain Technology’s usage in security field, adversary emulation, cloud assessment, mobile malware, penetration testing, Red Teaming, Threat Hunting, Social Engineering and Web Apps.
