No unwanted apps is a good thing but it would make more sense if Microsoft did not install apps and gave users a list of MS apps they could choose to install from.

Yeah, and if I remember right it also does more monitoring and data collection than Chrome.
Why not Vivaldi or Brave? Both have built-in ad blockers, better privacy, more features, and are based on Chromium and can use Google Chrome extensions.

Right...what about the OneDrive insanity imposed on us? It's trickery how it's all but invisible during the installation process for Windows. BC never bothered to mention how OneDrive now was asking its users via pop-up why they were closing it. There is no blog on this at all!
Many of us want to uninstall Windows Defender and many other apps. But whatever, first fix the issues and missing features with File Explorer. Then there's of course the long delay after opening up Notepad.
I'm biting my lip and likely going to uninstall W11 and revert back to W10. It seems, despite what MS says, it's still being supported, and new features keep on being added.
Next year at this time (the older you get, the faster time moves) we'll all be talking about W12 and Office 2024.

100%, I want to see the uninstall option for Onedrive, Edge, GetHelp, Tips and the new "Windows Backup" app that has NO local backup option.
It seems micro$haft in thier infinite wisdom it have seen fit to remove the old backup from settings. But for now atleast you can still access filehistory from the control panel.

The freeware tool ShutUp10++ from O&O software can disable certain notifications/ads related to OneDrive. I know OneDrive can be uninstalled on Windows 10, although I haven't played around with Windows 11 that much (I don't feel like reinstalling Windows again and I refuse to allow Windows to "upgrade").
