Almeida led the development and implementation of enterprise-wide information security strategy, policies, risk assessments and controls. Prior to joining Delta Dental, Almeida was the CISO at Covanta Holding Corporation, a leader in energy-from-waste management services. He was also director of the SANS Internet Storm Center.
