Is it really something worth celebrating in cybersecurity? In other reports, for example Cybersecurity Ventures , women consistuted 20% in 2019 and 25% in 2021, and the UK’s Department of Culture and Media Studies (DCMS), found that the proportion of women in the workforce has increased from 16% in 2021 to 22% in 2022.

Cyber.org pilot program aims to steer minority students toward HBCU cyber degrees

A new diversity pilot program by Cyber.org is designed to encourage high-school students to study cybersecurity at historically black colleges and universities. The students will later receive further guidance from nearby HBCU Grambling State University, the first university in the state to create a cybersecurity undergraduate degree.
